Strikeforce has a situation on its hands.

Well, he did it again. Scott Smith came back to KO Cung Le in the third round of their Strikeforce bout last night in San Jose. During his MMA career Smith has made a name for himself with his dramatic come from behind victories. Last night was no exception.  Despite being dominated throughout most of the fight, Smith came back and KO'ed Le in the third round.

By now you've probably heard about Heisman Trophy winning running back, Herschel Walker trying his hand at MMA. If the most recent Ultimate Fighter season was any indication, the former Georgia Bulldog may need to start practicing harder than ever. Several NFL players signed on for season 10 of TUF and all seemed to have jaws made of glass. We wish you well Herschel! Check out his training session below.

Looks like I have everything I need. I'd rather have Gina Carano here next to me on the couch instead of the dog, but that's not happening any time soon unfortunately. Anyway, without further ado, here's my running diary of Strikeforce: Carano vs. Cyborg.
 
10:30: Opening montage of Carano and Cyborg. What's with the helicopter and amusement park training? Weird.
 

Apparently Affliction is throwing in the towel on the fight promotion business and has announced a deal with the UFC. After the much publicized Fedor Emelianenko vs. Josh Barnett bout was cancelled due to Barnett's failed drug test, Affliction management came to the conclusion the Affliction: Trilogy bout would lose money no matter who they found to replace the Baby Faced Assassin.
