Horrifying Bus Crash Can’t Stop Volleyballer From Fulfilling Her DreamsPosted by danb Stacy Sykora eyeing spot on Olympic team.
Check out this story we found on ESPN.com. Nine months ago, the team bus carrying Stacy Sykora and teammates on her Brazilian volleyball team skidded off the highway and on to its side. Ms. Sykora has no recollection of the event, nor does she recall the week leading up to the crash or the 11 days afterwards. She has endured thousands of hours of physical therapy in the attempt to once again take her place as one of the world’s elite volleyball players and gain a spot on the United States’ Olympic Volleyball Team.
