ABC's "Dancing With the Stars" isn't exactly much watch TV in my house. And as MMA fans, we imagine it's probably not on yours either. But the other day my fiance made me watch the program and what I saw blew my mind. It wasn't the girls in the skimpy outfits or anything. (Although that wasn't bad!) Rather it was the incredibly inspirational story of JR Martinez.

While serving in Iraq, the vehicle Martinez was traveling in rolled over an IED. As a result, he has had to go through years of painful reconstructive surgery on his face. While being interviewed on the show, Martinez said that he was very depressed for a long time. However, one day he woke up and decided he had had enough. He decided that from now on, every day in his life was going to be lived to the fullest. It was an amazing story. And, of course, everyone watching couldn't help but tear up a bit.
