Cancer Survivor, Mark Herzlich to Play Football In the Big Apple!Posted by danbCancer survivor, Mark Herzlich to play for the New York Giants. In 2008, Mark Herzlich was at the top of his game. He was a first team All-American for the Boston College Eagles and the ACC Defensive Player of the Year. He was a sure fire first round-draft pick and on the verge of being a multi-millionaire. But it all came crumbling down when he found out he had Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer in his left leg. However, Herzlich overcame cancer and began playing Division 1 football again in the 2010 season. And today he announced he would be signing with the New York Giants. It’s an amazing accomplishment and shows that Herzlich has the heart of a true champion. He is truly BORN STRONGER! |
