Just came across this story from KETK in East Texas.

Apparently some wounded warriors recently played a round of golf with local kids.

The soldiers were showing their support for First Tee, a junior golf organization that teaches core values like honesty and integrity as well as the basics of golf. However, it wasn’t just First Tee that drew the soldiers to East Texas. They’re also participating in a Pro-Am Golf Tournament that started today.

According to KETK, the annual Wounded Warrior Golf Pro-Am Celebrity Scramble is sponsored by "Texas Wounded Warrior," an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. Proceeds from the tournament will go to help wounded warriors and their families.
