Rampage hits the streets

One thing's for sure. Quinton "Rampage" Jackson is never at a loss for words. This video is a few months old, but we figured it had to be dusted off and shown again. It's just too funny.

We saw how much he hammed it up with Forrest Griffin and the guys from season 7 of the Ultimate Fighter. Now watch Rampage ham it up and cut a rug on the streets of the UK! Enjoy.

Barnett's failed test hits Affliction right in the wallet.

Apparently Affliction is throwing in the towel on the fight promotion business and has announced a deal with the UFC. In honor of the bad guy!

Baseball has the Yankees. Football has the Cowboys. Now the UFC has Brock Lesnar. Sports leagues need bad guys. The kind of teams and people that galvanize the audience to turn on the tube and root, root, root for the other team.

Ultimate Showdown: Royce Gracie vs. George St-Pierre:

There’s been a lot of talk lately about a potential George St-Pierre vs. Anderson Silva fight. Mixed Martial Arts forums and blogs all over the webisphere are abuzz with who would come out on top. And if the MMA gods have any compassion for us diehard UFC fans then they will make this bout happen.

UFC 100 Under Card Recap

By now we’ve all heard what happened at UFC 100. Between Lesnar sticking his flag deep into the top of the heavyweight mountain and Hendo’s KO over the talkative Michael Bisping, the whole evening has been well documented. However, for those of you who weren’t lucky enough to attend or couldn’t pony up the $45 needed to order the fight on TV ($55 if you wanted it in High Def), there were some good fights on the under card that haven’t been talked about much. UFC Fan Expo a rousing success!

UFC Fan Expo and UFC 100:

MMA Becoming More and More Mainstream

Just in case we needed any more proof that Mixed Martial Arts is becoming more of a mainstream sport comes the news Georges St-Pierre will take part in Gatorade's new "That's G" campaign. The first US ad will appear as a two-page spread in this month's issue of Rolling Stone. Although if you want to see it, you'll have to suffer the embarrassment of purchasing a magazine with the Jonas Brothers on the cover.
