Our Story

Like all of us, it started with a dream. And a belief. The dream was based upon the simple notion that if we put our mind, body and passion into anything, we can be successful. Nothing less than belief in ourself and the understanding that we have the potential to achieve and succeed at whatever we want -- we dream.

And where do those dreams or the inspiration for those dreams come from? And what drives the passion to pursue and chase that dream? For Born Stronger founder, it was a sleepless night in the dark corner of his living room, where the glow of the moonlight was brighter than that of the television. Fading somewhere between consciousness and sleep an obscure documentary or news story forced Dhillon out of his pending sleeping bliss. A young boy in Africa stood in Dhillon’s living room. Dirty tattered clothes, buttons missing from his shirt, flies swirling around his head. He wore no shoes. His mother, father and all his siblings killed by brutal warlords. He stood there alone.

Yet this young boy, who was no more than 12 years old, stood in Dhillon’s living room, on the television, smiling. Why? Because he helped other families. Other fathers, mothers and siblings escape the same fate of his family. He was driven to help. To survive. And to not let his misfortune ruin his life.

That African boy was Born Stronger.

Dhillon woke up the next morning still seeing that boy. And he realized it was time to do something meaningful in life. Dhillon’s dream was to help boys, girls, women and men realize their potential. Achieve their dreams. And unite.

Born Stronger was born. And the dream became a reality. Since then Dhillon is simply known as Dr. Dream. Helping others recognize and pursue their dreams and passion. And the dream of a better world. A world shared among humanity. A world community, sustainable and eco-conscious. The dream.
